Shape up like a Victoria's Secret Model with Tips from Trainer David Kirsch

Get a Victoria’s Secret Angel model body by following tips from trainer to the angels, David Kirsch. Celebrity trainer and author David Kirsch recently gave away some of his secrets for getting the Victoria’s Secret models ready for the big annual holiday runway show. Kirsch works with high-profile clients with amazing fat-free bodies year round but extra attention is paid for the glorified few who reach Angel heights and walk the runway for the big show. Although the models he works with are thin all the time, they switch into overdrive training to shed fat and lose any excess weight before the big show. As Kirsch points out in his conversation with New York magazine, the girls are practically naked, and you don’t want to see anything jiggling when they walk down that runway. In addition to the Angels, Kirsch has trained actress Anne Hathaway and supermodel (and Angel) Heidi Klum who always looks fit, skinny and amazing.
So, David Kirsch gives his three tips for getting the model body you are after. Before getting into his tips for looking like a model, obviously eating less and working out go without saying. Here are three mistakes mere mortals make and the Angel’s secrets for getting a great body.

1) Do the right exercise for your body type. Kirsch points out the women (or men) will often see someone whose body they like and do the same exercise that they do. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always work out. If you are inclined to bulk up in the quad area, you can’t expect to get a long, lean model body through running or spinning even if Gisele can do that.
2) Poor form and technique. Focus on doing each movement correctly with the proper placement so that your exercise is getting you the results you want. As you will find on this site, the Tracy Anderson method is a great one for avoiding bulk and getting long, lean model muscles. In fact, several models and actresses use the Tracy Anderson Method for their training. Ms. Anderson also notes that proper form and technique are crucial to your results.
3) Importance of Eating. This does not mean eating what you want, and enjoying all of your favorite foods. Kirsch explains that he often has to teach the models to eat to fuel their bodies throughout the day. Follow Adriana Lima’s example and eat high veggie, lots of protein diet. Adriana eats almost zero carbs, and lots of protein shakes to prep for the show. Read all about her model diet. Avoid sugars, carbohydrates and other fast sugars that won’t give you lasting energy.

He also advises drinking a big protein shake before your Thanksgiving feast which you could do before Christmas parties, New Years parties and any other big events, dinners or festivities throughout the year. He suggests enjoying in small portions the things you love but to avoid loading up on all of it, pick and choose.

He also suggests strength training exercises with bands, resistance and tubing to get those long lean muscles. Kirsch, like Tracy Anderson advises lower weights for women. Tracy Anderson has her clients use only 3 lb weights for strength training while David Kirsch has his clients use 3-5 lb weights for training. Stevia Pumpkin Pie Pudding Recipe

Make this Stevia Pumpkin Pie Pudding

Pumpkins are everywhere during the autumn months along with pumpkin desserts, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin scones and pumpkin pies. Unfortunately, almost all of these fantastic and enticing pumpkin treats are loaded with sugar. Pumpkin on its own is a very healthy ingredient, low in fat and low in calories and loaded with nutritional benefits.  You can of course enjoy savory pumpkin soups and roasted pumpkin recipes to enjoy pumpkin. However, if like me, you have a sweet tooth and are craving sweets, pumpkin but want to avoid sugar – here is a good recipe to try.

The recipe is for Pumpkin pie pudding with stevia instead of sugar. There are lots of great recipes online that have pumpkin pie made with agave nectar, molasses, honey, and of course artificial sweeteners like Splenda and Aspartame. I choose to avoid Aspartame and Splenda because of the many studies showing incredibly negative long term health effects when consumed even in small amounts over time.

I think agave nectar, xylitol and other natural sweeteners are great. However, you can’t beat the no calorie, super sweet punch that even the smallest amount of stevia will give to your recipe. Stevia is healthy, natural and does not effect your sugar levels at all. This natural herb is great for smoothies, oatmeal, and can be used in baking with great success with a little bit of experimentation.

I found this recipe online at Nourishing Days, link below the recipe so you can try the original. The pumpkin pie with stevia is also dairy free in case you are avoiding sugar and dairy!

Stevia Pumpkin Pie Pudding Recipe
4 large eggs
1 15 oz can organic pumpkin
½ c cream or full fat coconut milk
½ tsp salt
¾- 1 tsp Stevia
2 tsp cinnamon
¾ tsp ginger
½ tsp cloves
¼ tsp allspice
½-3/4 tsp mace or nutmeg
1 tsp Mexican Vanilla or regular vanilla
Almond meal or ground cashews (optional)
First butter or spray with organic cooking spray a round 8” cake pan or similar. If desired, sprinkle ground cashews or ground almond meal lightly to serve as a bit of a crust.
Blend the eggs for about 1 minute. Add pumpkin, cream or coco milk, and all other ingredients and blend with a mixer for about 1 minute. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes – check after 20 – you want a knife to come out clean but for it to be kind of a soft set.
Let rest  - eat at room temp or cold. Refrigerate leftovers. I recommend whipping up some heavy whipping cream with a touch of Mexican vanilla and either Zsweet, stevia or xylitol and put a spoonful on top of the pumpkin pie. Delicious.

During the autumn months, I delight in the overload of pumpkin goods introduced in every form at every store, restaurant, coffee shop and cafĂ©. Seasonal smoothies, seasonal lattes and baked goods are high on my list of must-haves. Pumpkin is a super healthy ingredient full of excellent vitamins and is also low in calories and low in fat. However, most of these delicious pumpkin treats that you find don’t fit into that low calorie low fat category.

I have tried all sorts of pumpkin treats, the Jamba Juice Pumpkin Smash is delicious but is pretty loaded with sugar. You can find recipes to make the pumpkin smash at home all over the Internet and you’ll notice that besides the pumpkin, the other major ingredient is vanilla frozen yogurt of some sort. You could of course use a low cal and low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt but most likely that will contain splenda or aspartame, which are both very unhealthy and detrimental to our bodies so I try to avoid those at all costs. I’d rather have the real sugar as calorie loaded as it is than have aspartame or splenda poisons. Stevia is an excellent completely natural substitute for these artificial sweeteners. On a side note, don't use TrueVia or PureVia thinking they are stevia- they do have stevia in them but have been re-engineered by major corporations to be patentable and are not pure and all natural like stevia is.
There are tons of baked goods that have pumpkin too. Again, most of the pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pies or pumpkin cakes that you will get out at a coffee shop or restaurant will have tons of sugar and possibly other ingredients that you don’t want or know about.

I thought there had to be a substitute pumpkin smoothie that I could make at home that satisfied that pumpkin and sweet craving. Even if you aren’t dieting, having a sweet treat that doesn’t have sugar is fantastic. Sugar is aging – it ages your skin, it doesn’t digest well, and of course leads to weight gain because the calorie energy is used up quickly with no real benefits.

I looked online and found a few stevia pumpkin smoothie recipes. What I ended up doing is modifying one to make it a pumpkin pie protein smoothie. It is so delicious. I used Energy First Vanilla whey protein mix. It is made with stevia and is packed with nutrients, low in calories and free of artificial junk. It is also very high in usable protein. I hope you enjoy this

Stevia Pumpkin Pie Vanilla Protein Shake
½ c coconut milk (I used full fat and it was so creamy and delicious but I think it would be terrific with a low fat coconut milk too)
1 c pumpkin cubes cooked (I sprayed a pan lightly with organic olive oil spray and baked fresh organic pumpkin that I had cut into cubes for about 40 minutes at 375-400 degrees, turning once or twice)
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger powder (more or less to taste)
½ tsp mace or nutmeg (more or less to taste)
¼ tsp allspice
¼ tsp cloves
1 tsp stevia
1 tsp Mexican vanilla (use regular vanilla if you like)
3/4 scoop of Energy First Vanilla Protein Powder
¼ c cold water
approx 3/4 c crushed ice cubes or 8-10 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients in a blender – add more liquid, spices or ice to your desired taste and consistency.
I think this is dreamy and tastes so much like a creamy pumpkin pie. It has no sugar – it’s an all stevia and protein smoothie that works as a meal replacement or as a dessert.
This amount makes a pretty large amount - easily could be shared between two people or if you feel the need for an extra large smoothie, this will do the trick.

Yacon Syrup

Yacon Syrup for Tracy Anderson Diet Shopping List

If you are starting the Tracy Anderson  30-Day Method, you have probably looked through the recipes and noticed the ingredient Yacon Syrup. I hadn’t heard of this ingredient before and wondered what it was and if I could substitute something else for it.
Turns out, it isn’t as hard to find Yacon syrup as I’d expected. A quick trip to my nearby health food store and they had a bottle of it. It isn’t cheap but isn’t insanely expensive.
Yacon syrup is a sweetener that has a low glycemic effect and is low in calories but high in flavor. It is extracted from tuberous roots of the yacon plant, which grows in South America and is indigenous to the Andes.

Yacon syrup could be compared to agave nectar and if you don’t have yacon syrup, I would use that in its place. It has a molasses flavor like carmelized sugar.

In the Tracy Anderson book, she uses yacon syrup in several of her recipes including one for Orange Glazed Salmon, Grilled Tofu, and Sweet Potato Silver Dollar Pancakes which make a delicious sweet treat!

Yacon syrup is a good sugar alternative for diabetics and is also processed in a vegan friendly way so it can be great for those who don’t take sugar or honey.

Use Yacon Syrup instead of maple syrup, agave nectar, honey, molasses or sugar for a sweetner in tea or coffee. It is also great in oatmeal or for use in recipes.

Now, back to the sneak peak inside the book - I would say that if you are a fan of the Tracy Anderson method or at the very least the Tracy Anderson body type, this book would definitely be worthwhile to purchase. Know going in that you will have to work for your weight loss and physically exert yourself to change your shape but if you follow the plan, you will change your body.

As with most diet and exercise plans, I think that the diet portion is about 80% of it. If you eat less calories, you will lose weight. With the Tracy Anderson Method, you are doing about 45-60 minutes daily of very high energy cardio focused on dancing, bouncing, treadmill dancing, dancing on a mini-trampoline if you prefer or something else that makes you sweat profusely. Tracy advises against running, elliptical machines and other exercises that tend to make you bulk up. For the 30-day plan you must do her dance cardio workout each day for the thirty days. No skipping days, no excuses. An easy-to-follow version of Tracy Anderson's Dance Cardio comes with the book on an included DVD. Additionally, you are to spend about the same amount of time doing repetitions of provided toning exercises that work your legs and butt, your arms, and your stomach and core muscles. These are shown on the DVD as well but annoyingly, are not done to a full set of reps for each exercise so you have to go back or count out reps yourself. The toning reps are hard to describe and are pictured and explained in great detail in the book as well as demonstrated and explained on the DVD included with the 30-Day Method book.

The Tracy Anderson 30-Day Meal Plan is provided, with tons of recipes to use while on the diet and beyond. If you are starting the diet, it will take a trip to the market. There are a lot of ingredients in the dishes on the menu and because it has a lot of variety, you need a lot of ingredients for each day and in turn for each week of the diet. One nice thing about the diet in contrast to many others is that Tracy provides sweets and dessert recipes as part of the diet. You don't have to stick to an all-protein, or no sugar diet during the 30 days. Another noteworthy thing is that the restrictive performance cleanse portion of the diet which is more juice, puree, and smoothie oriented is on the last few days of the diet. This is good for two reasons. First, Tracy points out that it would take unbelievable willpower to try to do the intense ultra low calorie portion of the diet at the same time you are adjusting to a new intense workout program. Second, it allows you to really show off the results, get rid of final water weight and reveal your new muscles at the 30 day mark of the Tracy Anderson 30-Day Method.

Just a few of the recipes that you will find in the book are:
French Chicken with Braised Leek
Egg Spinach Wrap with Beans and Escarole
Mexican Avocado Wrap
Orange Glazed Salmon
Roasted Root Vegetables
Kale Spinach Beet Juice
Chocolate Blueberry Pudding
Choco Chestnut Pudding

As you can see, there is a lot of variety on the Tracy Anderson diet menu. There are vegetables, fruits, fish, chicken, steak, smoothies and more. It is far more challenging if you are vegetarian but Tracy does lay out options for that as well. This is a low calorie diet and you can't eat unlimited anything so you need to be prepared to follow the menu closely for 30 days.

Now, here is a sneak peek from the Tracy Anderson 30-Day Method book
Recipe for Choco Chestnut Pudding
1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp peeled and cooked chestnuts (I found mine at Trader Joe's in the refrigerated produce/herb section)
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4 whole pitted dates (you can sub prunes or dried blueberries)
2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

Melt the chocolate chips slowly in a double boiler and set aside. Puree the rest of the ingredients. Add the melted chocolate and pulse until all the ingredients are combined. Add about 1/2 c water and check the consistency. It should be soupy. It will firm as it cools.
Portion size is 4 ounces

Sugar Substitutes - Are they Safe?

Are Sugar Substitutes Safe?

When you are trying to lose weight, studies show that diet is the most important factor. Of the many diets out there, after you finish your "diet" - you will want to modify your eating habits in a way that you can maintain them for the long term.

Which is the best non-sugar sweetener?

Are you going to stay away from sugar forever? Unless you don't like sweets, probably not. However, people are using sugar substitutes in everything from coffee, soda to their baking.  The question is: Are sugar substitutes safe for you?

Let's consider a few of the different alternative sweeteners or sugar substitutes:
Agave Nectar
Aspartame or Nutrasweet
Sucralose or Splenda
Just Like Sugar
Sweet and Slender
Corn Syrup

The sugar substitutes all differ in their safety, calories, taste, ability for baking. We have tried all of these sugar substitutes or artificial sweeteners.
On the good list, the following sweeteners are safe but have different advantages and disadvantages:
Agave Nectar
Just Like Sugar

On the bad list, sugar substitutes that are not good for you and research shows they are not safe and have detrimental effect on the brain or other physiological functions.
Splenda or Sucralose
Corn Syrup is now renamed Corn sugar to throw you off the track of how bad it is.

A couple of the sugar substitutes that we need more information on are
Zsweet which we think is good but haven't found conclusive information on this.
Truvia - created by one of the big corporations as a re-engineered stevia based product - we are very skeptical of Truvia and Purevia. Why use fake re-designed stevia. Pure natural stevia leaf is your best bet if you want to use a stevia product.
Sweet and Slender - a product that has zero calories, it combines a chinese ultrasweet fruit and fructose. We need more information but the taste is good and the ingredients initially are interesting.

Detox Diet Recipes from Gwyneth Paltrow

If you are looking for Detox Diet Recipes, check out these healthy and nutritious detoxification recipes from celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth Paltrow has made headlines for getting into the best shape of her life after having had two babies by working with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson and her sometimes detox diets.

 Whether you need to lose weight for an event, are having trouble losing post-pregnancy weight or just want to slim down - check out these recipes provided by Gwyneth Paltrow for losing weight quickly but in a healthy and natural way without starving yourself.

Although she provided quite a few recipes, one for a ginger sesame salad, a broccoli and arugula soup and more - she also offers some easy to make delicious steamed salmon, protein and green shakes and more. I will include a few of Gwyneth's recipes here to help with your diet or detox plan. Gwyneth enjoys food and likes to be able to eat what she wants so usually she enjoys all different foods but works out using the Tracy Anderson method of dance cardio and strength training each day. However, if she needs to get in shape quickly, drop weight fast for a film or red carpet appearance - she uses a quick detox diet with recipes like these or she often uses the Clean program nourish and move powders in shakes during a detox.

Detox Teriyaki Chicken
She says this sauce for the chicken is detox worthy because it doesn't use sugar or soy but has tons of flavor and the perfect consistency
Time: 20 minutes + time for marinating
Teriyaki Sauce:
1/3 c balsamic vinegar
1/3 c agave nectar
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 tsp barley miso
1 tsp mirin
1 Tbsp water
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Combine balsamic, agave, ginger and peper in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower to simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Cool, then add miso, mirin and water.
1 chicken breast
1 finely chopped scallion
Detox terriyai sauce
4 sprigs cilantro, roughly chopped
Marinate the chicken in the sauce (reserve a spoonful or two) for at least an hour to overnight.
Heat your grill to medium heat. Wipe off excess marinade and grill chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through. Serve with the reserved sauce (that hasn't touched the raw chicken) and the scallions and cilantro.

Blueberry and Almond Smoothie
You could use any fruit for this to make it your favorite fruit smoothie. You can substitute the almond milk with rice milk or coconut milk too - there is a lot of freedom for this detox recipe.
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
1 scoop of complete nutritional whey (you can use any whey protein powder - we recommend Energy First protein powder that is low in calories, high in protein and made with stevia and no artificial junk or sweeteners)
1 scoop of a progreens type of powder - you could also use hemp protein powder but preferably a greens powder with probiotics
1/2 cup blueberries or other fruit
1 1/2 cups almond milk
Blend everything together in the blender until smooth

Gwyneth Paltrow's Super Greens Juice
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
1 cup tightly packed kale
4 stalks celery
1" piece of fresh ginger
1 1/2 pears cut into large pieces
1/2 lemon, zest and pith removed
Juice everything into a glass (make sure to alternate the kale with other ingredients to help it get through the juicer easily.) Stir the juice before you drink it.

Because you will need lots of vitamins and nutrients during your diet and detox no matter what diet or weight loss plan you are doing, it is great to have vitamin rich smoothies, shakes and drinks that you can make at home.

Beet Carrot Apple and Ginger Juice
If you want a vibrant juice that has bright color and is wonderfully sweet, try this rich juice. Beets are good for lowering blood pressure, carrots are full of vitamins and apples are said to help fight cancer. Ginger also has health benefits.
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
1 large or 2 medium beets, cut into wedges
2 large carrots
1 large apple, cut into wedges
1/2 lemon, zest and pith removed
1" piece of ginger
Juice everything into a glass -stir and enjoy. You could also put all of these in a blender with some ice and water for a beet carrot ginger smoothie.

Detoxing your body can be very healthy but it is important to make sure you are getting enough nutrients. Follow Gwyneth Paltrow's lead and try her healthy delicious and nutritious smoothies and detox diet recipes.

Adriana Lima: No Carb Diet + 2 Hour Workouts + Metagenics

Adriana Lima Metagenics Shakes and No Carb Diet Plan

Adriana Lima, Victoria's Secret Angel supermodel and gorgeous new mom tells bloggers the honest truth about how she loses weight to prepare for the Victoria's Secret show. Usually models always give the same story about how the weight just "melted off" after they gave birth or how it was breastfeeding, a little bit of yoga and taking care of the baby that helped them lose weight. Unfortunately, this weight loss advice is generally not helpful, and sometimes not believable.

We at How to Lose Weight Fast and Easy love women who are forthright about the work they put in to lose weight. It isn't always easy, it isn't always a few yoga classes, it isn't "I eat whatever I want". Sometimes, well, usually - weight loss takes effort and there is nothing wrong with admitting that you put a little effort into getting back into shape after having a baby. And who doesn't want a body like Adriana Lima's?

In a recent lunch meeting with bloggers and press members including NY magazine which is where we found this fantastic information, beautiful model Adriana Lima talked about her weight loss strategy to get in her tip top supermodel shape for her upcoming runway shows. Lima said that she eats almost zero carbs, does 2 hour workouts daily and has various protein shakes by Metagenics throughout the day. She says she feels great as the Metagenics supplements give her energy and the lack of chocolate and sugar help her avoid a "puffy" feeling that she says she has when she does eat them. That is doubtful but it is refreshing to hear just the same.

Adriana Lima's workouts consist of jumping rope, boxing and strength training exercises that involve using her own body weight rather than weights or machines. She varies her workouts all the time, most likely with a trainer to keep them interesting and exciting. Two hours a day, six days a week is a big commitment but that is what it takes to get a hot body like Adriana Lima.

 The supermodel's diet consists of green vegetables everything grilled or steamed and 4 oz protein portions in addition to the Metagenics drinks and cereal bars for protein between meals.
This is her overdrive diet that she follows strictly in the six weeks or so leading up to the big annual show.
Lima recommends jumping rope as an easy, intense exercise you can take anywhere. Heidi Klum | New Balance | Project Runway | Activewear

Heidi Klum for New Balance Project Runway Winner Andy!

If you are looking for photos of the Heidi Klum for New Balance collaboration seen on Project Runway, keep reading. On the Project Runway episode last night, the designers were asked to design not one but three pieces for Heidi Klum's new activewear line, a collaboration with sporty company New Balance. The designer contestants got to see the lookbook for the collection with Heidi Klum's designs for New Balance. They were asked to create their own activewear pieces to fit into the Heidi Klum for New Balance collection.
They were given fabrics from the collection to use in their designs as well as a trip to Mood Fabric to pick additional fabric if they wanted to use other fabrics in the activewear designs.

Several of the designers had a difficult time with the challenge as they don't often make activewear. However, many women wear activewear. Whether you are looking for active wear for going to the gym, for doing a brisk walk in the morning, for running errands, dropping the kids off at school or just for wearing around the house - activewear is part of ealmost very woman's wardrobe at some point.

Finding luxurious and comfortable sportswear or activewear that transitions from in the house to out in public is often a challenge. We don't want to look like we've been at the gym unless it's an uber stylish version of the gym wear of course.
Heidi Klum with her New Balance collection wanted to address the busy woman's needs and desire for stylish activewear that is comfortable, super soft and luxurious in feel and fabric. Heidi wanted the designers to create pieces that a woman could wear to drop the kids off at school, do a walk in, run some errands in, and meet a friend for coffee without feeling like she was wearing gym clothes.

A few of the designers on Project Runway delivered terrific pieces of activewear for New Balance while a few of them didn't do so well. Heidi Klum was honest in her critique of the designs for her label.
The designers that produced active wear that she liked for HK NB were Mondo, April and Andy.

All three of these Project Runway designers produced creative, comfortable sportswear pieces that could work well as comfortable activewear for the scenarios Klum had in mind.

The other three, Christopher, Michael C and Gretchen disappointed Heidi and the other judges with their designs.

The winning Project Runway designer for this Heidi Klum for New Balance Challenge was Andy who created three unique pieces that the judges felt worked well and were beautiful, luxurious, fashion forward and comfortable. Heidi liked the three pieces so much that she decided to include all three in her line for sale on Amazon.

Along with recipes and explanations for WHY certain foods work or do not, Pierre Dukan also gives his full list of approved foods and those to avoid. The Dukan Diet is actually four diet plans in one. It's basis is a low carb diet that is also a low fat diet. The diet is heavy on proteins, lean meats, fish, seafood and poultry. You will find Dukan fish recipes that are tasty, healthy and low in fat and carbs. Pierre Dukan Recipes are made to be delicious no matter which phase of the diet you are in even though it is a low fat diet. Dr. Dukan recognizes the importance of real, delicious and tasty food no matter where you are in your low carb diet. Food is very important in French culture and Dr. Dukan believes that you can have flavorful food that does not taste like cardboard even when you are trying to lose or maintain weight. He states that the Dukan method offers the most weight loss of any diet that offers real food, and is comparable to the results of a cleanse or fasting diet or a protein powder diet.

In the first phase of the Dukan Diet, the food choices are limited basically to Dukan's list of 72 approved foods so the Pierre Dukan recipes focus on spices and high impact flavors without the use of a lot of ingredients. You can find the 72 Dukan Attack approved foods as the first 72 of his 100 Pierre Dukan approved foods Dukan 100 Safe Food List. Use fresh herbs and spices with eggs for a healthy and flavorful breakfast or lunch option. Using garlic and other fresh herbs on chicken or fish will also keep your Pierre Dukan Recipes fresh during the diet.

One super easy and very tasty recipe Dukan chicken recipe is one that was enjoyed in this household even before the Dukan Diet was on the radar.

Lemon Garlic Chicken – you can vary it with different spices or herbs but simply using the grill will add flavor. You can also cook this in a pan or under a broiler.
Garlic Lemon Chicken

2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Lemon
Salt & Pepper

Butterfly the chicken breasts so they are thinner and can be well-seasoned with the garlic and lemon. Chop the garlic cloves and rub generously on the chicken. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Place in a dish or container and squeeze the juice of one lemon covering the chicken breast completely. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to 12 hours. Spray pan or grill with fat-free oil or rub a TINY amount of oil on chicken to avoid sticking. Place chicken on heated pan or heated grill. Flip once allowing grill marks or browning on one side before turning. Don’t overcook as you will let the chicken rest covered for a couple of minutes before serving where it will continue to cook and retain its juices.
During the cruise phase, you can incorporate arugula or other vegetables into the meal. During the cruise phase you can also chop up some tomatoes to eat with the chicken.

The key to Pierre Dukan Recipes is to use flavor instead of fat. Instead of dumping oil or butter on a piece of fish – add fresh herbs and spices to bring out the natural flavors. Although Pierre Dukan advises to keep salt intake to a minimum, a light sprinkle of sea salt on a piece of fish will really enhance the flavors.

One of the best ways to make Dukan Diet Desserts on a low carb diet or other no-sugar diet treats is to use a liquid egg white formula. By simply pouring about a cup of the 100% natural, safe, pasteurized bio available egg white into a blender, you can add any sort of sweetener and it will take on that flavor and have a nice light airy whipped consistency. Add a bit of unsweetened cocoa and some stevia for a super sweet chocolate treat that is incredibly good for your diet.

This is loaded with good nutrients and at the same time is super low in calories, and very delicious.

Add ¼- ½ cup ice
Blend until frothy – you have a Pierre Dukan approved dessert shake that you can have any time of day. If you get sugar-free flavored syrups, you can change the flavors of the egg whites any time and create your own repertoire of amazing Pierre Dukan Recipes.

Make sure to stick to ingredients that are approved for the phase of the diet that you are in. If you are in phase one or the attack phase, you cannot have veggies so stick to those low fat protein dishes. Be creative as possible in your Dukan Diet Recipe making. My favorite source of Vitamin C that is easy to absorb is Nature's Plus Vitamin C Micro-Crystals. A super fine powder, this is a great way to get the amount of Vitamin C you really need each day. Tracy Anderson Method Review - New Tracy Anderson Book

The Tracy Anderson book is called “Tracy Anderson’s 30 Day Method – The Weight Loss Kick-Start that Makes Perfection Possible”. Tracy promises to shrink your body and help you lose weight in just 30 days. The book will focus on the Tracy Anderson Method and incorporate cardio, sculpting and a 30-day diet designed to get excellent, fast weight loss results.

The Tracy Anderson Method was developed when Tracy Anderson had difficulty getting and maintaining the slim, long, lean body she wanted as a dancer in her teens. She found that the exercise she was doing was bulking her up instead of slimming her down.

After an unsuccessful search for a great alternative workout, she created her own. After finding success herself, Tracy wanted to test her method on other women. The results were terrific. The Tracy Anderson 30-Day Method is now easy. I have the book and it is great. It's like a mini-boot camp where you really have to commit for thirty days. When you commit to beginning the 30 day method, you are committing to about an hour and a half to 2 hours of working out a day for 30 days straight. The book offers Tracy's own story and struggle with weight, breaks down all of the reasons that the method works, and then presents the cardio, the muscular structure work and the diet that will change your body in 30 days. The book has photos of each of the muscular structure exercises broken down into three different sections of the 30 day plan. For days 1-10, there are seven moves, day 11-20 and then a third set of muscular structure training moves for the last ten days of the 30 day boot camp. The best thing is that the Tracy Anderson 30-Day Method book comes with a DVD that has two cardio workouts and the three toning training sequences which makes it so much easier to follow them.

You do have to pause it and do more reps than Tracy does in the video which is a little annoying as you are required to do 40 reps of each of the sequences. However, it is set up so it is easy to go back to the beginning of the portion for legs and then the stomach and arms exercises don't require going back for the second side.  I found the exercises challenging, in a good way. To do 40 reps each of the leg and butt exercises all on one side was tough and really burned. However, it does take some hard work to get the body you want and I find it encouraging when I feel some muscle pain the day after a good workout. The Tracy Anderson cardio sequences in the 30 day method are easy to follow so there isn't a learning curve or a need to learn the dances as you need to do with the Dance Cardio DVD. They key is to keep moving, bouncing and following along. You could obviously add arms and make it your own if it becomes too easy for you.

The Tracy Anderson 30 day diet is given with a whole collection of recipes that offer low carb and low fat foods that are delicious and work well with the whole plan. There is a chicken with mango and scallion recipe that you can find at Tracy Anderson Diet Recipe. It is important to stick to the diet but there are plenty of good options to satisfy your cravings whether they be for chocolate or dessert or more substantial foods. The Choco Chestnut Pudding is one sweet recipe on the diet and fruit compote and strawberries with mint are other sweet recipes to enjoy. Poached cod and Tracy Anderson Minestrone style soup are more cozy savory recipe options on the 30 day plan. The last days on the diet are more focused on fast slimming with more juices and low calorie options to show off those nice lean muscles that you've worked so hard for in the first few weeks of the Tracy Anderson 30 Day Method.

Most important is that you do it! The 30 day method is not easy but Tracy Anderson promises results if you stick with it and do the exercises and follow the diet as she instructs. You will see a change in your body in 30 days. You want Tracy Anderson results? You need to put in the time and work out the hour and a half a day for thirty days and follow the food plan. Don't make substitutions unless you are allergic to something. The less thinking you have to do about the food, the better - Tracy says.
